I’m sorry to say Grimalkin didn’t survive. The diagnosis was cancer, the prognosis grim and painful, and he was euthanized. My deepest condolences go to Grimmie’s people.
On a more pragmatic note, I don’t know if they received enough donations to pay the final vet bill, which was only $134 (rounded up to the nearest dollar), so I plan to donate a bit more, just in case. Those who donated, please know that you helped make Grimmie’s last day a much better one than it would otherwise have been and helped ease his passing. Thank you for being generous.
