We should be getting our first winter storm this evening.
The high yesterday was in the 70’s. Today, the high was 55 at 6:13 AM, when the cold front hit.
We’ve had rain, so things are nicely damp for the ice that will accumulate when the temperature falls below 32, which should be around 3 PM.
After that, we are expected to get between 4 and 8 inches of snow.
We haven’t had that much snow in at least a decade. I hope I remember to photograph it this time, because it will start melting off by Friday. That’s the way it is when we have just 2 day snowfalls. Here today, mostly gone tomorrow.
Come Monday, even the shadow snow will be gone.
Those of you in the path of this winter storm, find yourself a nice cozy cave and curl up in it to snooze.
