It’s January.
The grass is now tall enough in my yard to require mowing.
Unfortuantely, we’re supposed to get ice or snow this weekend, rain at the least, which means I won’t be able to mow.
Usually, I am the last person to stop mowing in my neighborhood and the first to start. I end my weekly mowing spree in mid-December most years and pick up again in mid-March. Those three months are too cold to mow and the grass often cooperates by not growing those months.
I suppose it’s doggy compost that’s making a difference, because all the places where Itzl prefers to do his doggy blogging are the ones with tall grass.
I’ll be mowing tomorrow, most likely, with a flashlight, just so the grass is sheared before the cold sets in.
