It’s cold.

Fortunately the insulation in my house is good enough that the temperature indoors hasn’t fallen below 45º, and it will warm up rather quickly.

This isn’t the last cold spell of the winter, but it is the coldest one we’ll get this year. I think there will be one more snow or cold spell in March, then we’ll have typical wet and chilly weather alternating with gorgeous warm weather until mid-April. Then it will get hot.

But right now, it’s so cold my tea has already cooled, the melty wax candle isn’t melting even lit, and the ground beef is taking its time browning.

The outside temperature is 17º, and the low will be 8º.
