Here is the bread I made to bring to MedFaire. OK, it’s only some of hte bread – the rest is still in the oven or rising. The center three loaves are Bacon bread, and the other four are Peter Maxx bread – all swirled up spinach, tomato, and creamed corn breads. Usually I make the Peter Maxx style bread with at least 5 different vegetable breads, but I ran out of flour and couldn’t go to the store to get more since I was in the middle of baking bread already. That’s OK, there’s plenty of bread for the weekend.
The Scottish Eggs get cooked each evening so they are fresh for the next day, so I won’t be making the Scottish Eggs until tomorrow evening.
I have Chantria’s bodices finished, all of Itzl’s clothes, my new over-dress, some of the court garb pieces I was asked to do, and assorted kilt shirts for various people. I need to finish off Itzl’s carry necklaces.
The booth spaces are all marked out, posts and such set where they belong, repairs done to the pirate ship so the mermaids are comfortable, water turned on, rain fell today as needed to end the burn ban, we’ll get a bit more tonight and tomorrow for insurance, and then a nice warm weekend.
I may post some pre-set up pictures tomorrow evening. I will remember to take the camera tomorrow.
If any of y’all can make it to the Faire, I will be working in the Faire Office from 5-7 Friday night and from 11-12:30 Saturday morning. Sunday, it’s catch-as-catch-can because I’ll be everywhere. I’ll be the one with the little dog.
